Behavior - رفتار &  Stop - متوقف کردن

1) Your behavior is quite out of line. That’s the end. Shape up, or ship out.

رفتار دیگه قابل تحمل نیست (از حد خودت خارج شدی) دیگه تمام شد یا خودت را درست کن (اصطاح کن) یا از اینجا برو بیرون.

توضیح: «از اینجا» در جمله فوق اشاره به محل های مختلفی مانند محیط کار، کلاس درس، محل برگزاری جشن یا محل های دیگری می باشد. به چند مثال همراه با لغت «Behavior» توجه فرمایید.

1-1) Your behavior was completely inappropriate.

رفتار شما کاملا ناشایست (بی مورد) بود.

توضیح: در جواب به عنوان عذرخواهی می توان از جمله زیر استفاده کرد.

1-2) I am sorry for my undignified behavior.

از رفتار ناشایست (غیر محترمانه) خودم عذر می خواهم.

1-3) Behave yourself; I have a reputation to protect.

مواظب رفتارت باش. من اینجا آبرو دارم.

Reasonable  -منطقی و معقول

1) Be reasonable;

منطقی باش؛

     1-1) That’s not a reasonable excuse for being absent.

این یک عذر موجه برای غیب کردن نیست.

     1-2) I though you could act like a reasonable man, but obviously I was wrong.

فکر کردم می توانی مثل یک آدم منطقی عمل کنی، ولی معلوم شد که اشتباه کردم (از حٌسن نظر من سو استفاده کردی)

     1-3) Be reasonable; you can’t always have what you want.

(یک مقدار) منطقی باش، نمیشه که همیشه هر چی می خواهی داشته باشی (بدست بیاوری).

     1-4) Why are you so unreasonable?

چرا اینقدر بی انصافی (انصاف داشته باش)؟

از خنده روده برت می کند.

توضیح: در توصیف فردی است که به نظر گوینده فوق العاده شوخ و بامزه می باشد و با حرکاتش (یا بیانش) باعث شادی و خنده می شود. از عبارت زیر نیز بعنوان مترادف می توان نام برد:

1-1) He is hilarious

او فوق العاده شوخ است.

2) This is an opportunity of a life-time.

این موقعیت بسیار عالیه (در هر مورد خاصی که هست).
